Assessment Tool
The staff of the Active Living Resource Center has continued to offer Safe Routes to School pilot workshops, focusing on schools that might otherwise be overlooked by the more customary SRTS programs. In these workshops, which we refer to as "City-Safe Routes To School," we focus on issues that may not arise in the more suburban settings in which so many SRTS programs take place. In 2008-09, the ALRC staff focused it's attention on the three urban schools listed below. Attached to each link is a report (in .pdf) that outlines what occurred during the workshop, and recommendations from the workshop participants and staff.
