Workshop Resources:
The Walkable Community Workshop Series — The National Center For Bicycling and Walking produces dozens of these 4-hour workshops across the country each year. The subject matter can be broad, aimed at building community support for a variety of projects. Or the workshops can be narrowly focused at a particular project, such as making crosswalks and sidewalks more accessible in a neighborhood surrounding an elementary school. The Thunderhead Alliance — This national organization provides regional workshops each year on a variety of topics, all aimed at getting more advocates working toward the goal of communities that are better places to bicycle and walk.
